ROVRS – Rockyview Orthopedic & Veterinary Referral Specialists – is a locally owned specialty surgery practice operating since January 2026, led by Dr. Tamara MacDonald, ACVS Board-Certified Small Animal Surgeon. We provide advanced orthopedic, soft tissue, and neurosurgery services to patients across Atlantic Canada.

We’re looking for a Veterinary Assistant who thrives in a supportive, collaborative environment and is passionate about surgery, patient care, clients, and our team!

What We Offer

• Competitive wages: $25/hr

• 4-day, 40-hour work week – flexible scheduling available

• No weekends, holidays, overnights, or on-call!

Who You Are

• Experienced TA or VA

• Minimum 6 months experience in emergency or specialty veterinary practice

• Solid understanding of patient handling, instrument sterilization and care, and client communication

• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for learning
